Looking for a car, a toy pretty much. Seen this but not sure of the reliabilty, thought the price was not bad for the mileage.

I'd be wanting to see a printout of the 190bhp sri engine

considering they are about 168bhp standard.

i love veccys had one my self but i wouldnt have one as a toy.wat do you mean by toy.if its a nippy car etc v6 vecs arnt the way forward.

2.5 v6 vectra isn't a 'toy'.

It's a commuter/family car.

A bit overpriced for a pre facelift. I love the way he is raving about the 190bhp printout

thats standard figures near enough for a v6 gsi

toy as in weekend car for long drives north and stuff of the likes.

Not a toy as in track or weekend racer.

You could pick up an ST for not much more if you're lucky, I've seen a few cheap ones lately. Have a look on VVOC or vectrasport

Someone i knew claimed that his 2.5 V6 vectra produced 210bhp. He said he had changed the cams and other parts on the car. Dont know about 210 bhp but it is quick.

Sure you only need to change a few simple things to see 200bhp out the V6 could be wrong

Get rid of the gay lights and change the exhaust and your onto a winner - But wuddnt mint seeing the pringout for bhp.

Vectra's aren't unreliable from what i've seen. my dads last and current car were Vectra's one being 2.5 V6 CDX and the current being 2.5 V6 GSi, and no major problems with either

look after them and they will look after you.

a lot of taxi's for years were vectra's

my gsi had it coming up to a year in a couple of months hasnt once let me down. and its not like it give it an easy life as i use it for towing.
