Found a 12" FLI sub in the shed, looks to be in good condition, but how can I test it without an amp etc?

Push on the cone gently, if it feels sticky or crunchy its no good.

i just stuck the wires to it to see if it worked, shouldnt really bother it as long as its to see if its working and not loud. didnt bother mine....
