hi all. im having trouble with 2nd and 4th gear, it a corsa gsi with c20xe and f20 box. im using the gearbox mount off corsa with chris astley spacer kit. have others ad this problem plus whas the easiest solution. do some peope remove the spacer and find all gears fine? any advice r pics will help me. cheers joe

no not touched the linkage, iv heard of cutting and add/remove a bit. not sure exactly how much and what part lol. just iv heard people running standard linkage without spacer!!!

I've heard of people turning the nylon bush at the end of the selector rod around 180 degrees which makes it about 15-20mm longer.

yeah you need to make the bit on the linkage that attaches on to the selector shaft about an inch bigger, and also make the c shaped bit wider

That's how it's done on a Nova, i think it's the same on a Corsa.

bin the spacers and on this linkage there is a bit just above where it attaches to underneath the car that leans towards the car. it hits the steering rack and causes you to not find 2nd a 4th. all i done was straighten out that bit that leans and jobs a goodun

cheers mate, think ill give that option a go before i cut anythin or spend cash on short shifter. dont suppose you can get any pics???
