After all the recent hype and the 8 oscars they won last night I got round to watching it today. Was thinking it would be a let down after all the hype but thought it was amazing! I've been to bangalore twice and encontered the begging kids etc with lost limbs and stuff

If you haven't seen this film, I highly recomend it. One of the best films I've ever seen!

I thought it was brilliant. Had no real interest in watching it but the Mrs dragged me along and I was pleasantly suprised.

Thought it was alright, certainly not worthy of the level of acclaim it received imo.

Never thought of it as something I want to see. When it appears on tv in the future I will give it a watch to see what its about but until them I am not bothered

I started watching it on a plane and then stopped as I thought it was going to be some Low budget bullshit...

weeks later there's all this hype, and I wish I'd watched it.

When i went to see it, i thought it was meant to be a comedy. I had no idea what it was all about.

I was gutted when i found out it was a serious film with a bit of a romantic storyline, but i have to admit, i actually loved it.
Really great film, and oh my god, that girl he was trying to find... what a stunner (when she was grown up obviously) .

The problem I had at first is that the story line just didnt make me want to watch it. Now, with all the hype, Id expect it to be amazing and know it'll just be dogshit.

I forced myself to watch it because of nothing but the hype, didn't interest me at all.

I feel like I have the last laugh because it cost me nothing but bandwidth to watch.

Got half way through and got bored. Not worthy of all the hype, for me at least.
