The only things a car should fail on are things like rust underneigh, maybe emmissons, maybe wearing suspension parts

I'd be more worried if the exhaust wasn't leaking!

I reckon it'll be fine mate

Didn't check a thing on mine before it went in, and it was sat on the drive for a week before it went down Passed though

£201 later that was the cost all in for the spring, CV boot, labour etc.

No advisories. Clean bill of health for another year

Happy days. Bank of Sainsbury's came in handy

cv boots are just a little peice of rubber worth nothing. spring you could of bought one on here for like £5-£10 for a standard one

£201 is expensive!

That was including the MOT, 2 hours labour @ £40/hour. CV boot was £12, spring was £40, MOT was £50.

It all soon adds up. Plus I had to get it done today, so couldn't source a used spring in time, nor a lowering kit

£201

My days I would have driven illegally for a few days, got the boot and spring done at the weekend and re-MOT'd on Monday

tbh, the MOT wasn't actually due until 23rd March BUT I really can't live without a car because of Uni and works, meh, you pay the price for convenience I guess.

£200 is the price of a basic service at a dealer. Not too bad for an old car that's done 90k IMO.
