Ironed my shirt last night and went out leaving the iron on.

Want to know how much it would of cost me? Like at an average rate?

Iron is 1100watts

67 amp hours I think if it was running constantly, which it won't have been, it'll switch on and off.

1.1 x 14 = 15.4 KWh's

about 20p/KWh IIRC for leccy

But John is correct, it would be on and off on a thermostat, so no-where near that in reality.

I accidently left mine on for 6 days once, completly forgot to turn it off when i went to Ireland. I was lucky enough to come home with my 2 month old apartment still intact

My iron turns itself off if it's not used for 20 minutes.

It's called a "man iron"
