I'm aware Vista will only use (around) 3.3gB, but is it worth spending £15-£20 on a 2gB stick to replace my current 1gB stick giving me 4gB (3.3gB) total?

How much difference will 300mB of memory actually make?

I do a lot of heavy Photoshop work and the extra 1gB I just added helped a LOT, but I'm not sure if I'll notice 300mB or not?

Would you bother?

with how cheap RAM is I would max out my box if possible. I doubt 300MB will make a big difference but this is Vista we are talking about

Just remembered I can bung the old 2x 1gB sticks on eBay to receive a bit back! Suppose it's worth a punt.

If you have a 64bit CPU then why not just chuck on the 64bit OS?

If you have a single Core CPU then you shouldn't even think of Vista..
