needs a bit of copper grease smearing in between the back of the pad and the piston.
DONT put oil on them.

It's the pad pushing against the disc that is squeaking. I'm thinking of cleaning the pads and discs up but not sure on the best method. Sand paper would work and i'm sure WD40 with a cloth would clean some of the shit off.

Copper grease on the back, and any sides of the pad that contact the caliper. but some pads are squeaky anyway and you cant cure it.

Do you have standard disc's and pads? ie. not grooved with EBC green stuff etc. as sometimes they can give off brake noise.
Remove your pads, lay a big piece of emery / sand paper down on a flat surface and rub your pads face down on them to remove the top surface glaze. Make sure you do it evenly tho so you dont get an un-even surface.
Then spray them with some brake cleaner to remove loose dust & dirt. Coat the back and the sides of the pads with copper grease (make sure you dont get any on the front) or your brakes wont work.
Check front & rear surface's of the disc's for any groove's/rust/corrosion.
If there is, get your disc's skimmed or replace.
Get some light emery / sand paper and rub your disc's lightly just to get the shiney surface glaze off them also. Then spray with brake cleaner to remove the dust & dirt.
Customer's come in with brake noise alot at work and this procedure 99% of the time cure's the noise.
Hope it helps
