think i might just buy the bits from novatech at the weekend
curent one is really old, and restarts and freezes all the time by itself, well annoying, cant wait to smash it up! but want all my pics and files and itunes/ipod stuff transfered over, apparently you cant do that with ipods though? cause they are registered to the computer right??

na you get get a decent laptop with 3 gig of memory and a large harddrive for the same price you would build a pc for, obviously not going to be the exact same spec as the pc would be but it would suit what you need it for.
not to mention its easy to upgrade ram which is rather cheap these days and portable harddrive are very cheap for large capacities.
play.com or dell usually have the best deals on laptops, best thing to do on play is look in the laptop catagory and look at the most popular laptop people are buying, usually its the best for the price avalible.
