If i have a fuel filter problem, would it make my car cut off/loose some power?
It i rev the car to about 5k revs...the eml light comes on, and cuts off.
Start the car back up and its fine.....
Some times drive at steady speed, the car will start to splutter and loose some power under strain....could it be the fuel filter?
Btw is a 1.4 16v sport

Its been done.....
*Crank Sensor
*Cam Sensor
*Map Sensor
They've all been replaced

they could well have been old faults, to be honest your best getting it on a diagnostic computer

it has been on the computer.....thats how i knew they needed replacing.
They were the only faults which came up
