my car is going on the rollers today to be mapped.. just hope the engine holds out carnt see why it shouldnt just dont want the lads ringing me up saying it blown up... how strong are the 1.4 sport engines?

Probably not but I don't usually hit 6k rpm too often. It seems worse because you are outside the car, bonnet open and you can hear the engine screaming its arse off, and then theres the cooling issues. Just fans, no air passing through like on the road.

To recreate road air flow you need huge fans. Alot of places with rolling roads have no where near big/powerful enough fans.

whats the actual spec on it?
anyhow should be fine unless its just had some mega expensive rebuild and there putting it straight on the dyno that could be interesting!

it got split for parts, my brother bought the dbilas throttle bodies, then sold them to dale in south wales and then sold them to corsa-jr

Didnt the rings go or something? It either didnt even make it to the rollers, or it died shortly after?!
