Evening all.

Im going to be looking at reverting back from coilovers to a fixed suspension setup.

I've been looking at Eibach springs and blistein shocks but Eibach only seem to do 30mm drop?

I would rather a 50/60mm drop so just wondering with wheels being 195/45/16 in mind what the best combination of shocks and springs would be?

Is it best ideal stick with same make for both springs and shocks or do certain combination's work better?

Fulll Koni set up with a 60mm drop, sat at the right high as the shocks are slightly shorter plus the handling is brilliant, you can tell i have this set-up lol but the price is about £450 matey, worth every penny.

Yeah i been thinking about the Koni setup.

Are the adjustable like soft/hard or?

Where'd you get yours from??

Whats the comfort like driving and hitting potholes wise?

koni's are only rebound adjustable but that does effect the ride quality.
i find koni's a bit soft on the bound stroke but do make a good road shock.
id also recomend billies as they are that little bit stiffer if your after more performance and less comfort.

Well i was originally thinking billie shocks and eibach springs but recently learnt that eibach don't do a 60mm drop.

Do Koni do just springs? Or isn't it recommended to match different makes?

And 2bh im on the cheap "hottuning" coilovers atm, and as good as a result that they are (for what they are) i don't think you can get a more uncomfortable ride than them!

PS: Whats the difference between dampness and rebound? Dampness is hard soft yes?

bound is when the wheel comes up and compresses the sring and rebound is when the spring extend and the wheel returns downwards. the shock controls the speed this happens at.

billies would make sense if you dont want to fiddle about and are generaly a good alround setup but they sell different models of shocks.
as for springs you can mix and match but dont go koni'n springs there cheap tat.
theres a reason most decent makes of srings only go that low is beacuse beyond that you start to compromise ride quality and suspension geometry but everyone just wants to go as low as poss these days.
for a good compromise try to get around 40-50mm lower.
your best bet maybe custom springs which you can have made to your spec for less than £200.
