More to the point, look how many people agree with him in the comments.
I've a new found respect for him after he referred to Russell Brand as 'as for the other one' when talking him about him and Jonathan Ross.
It must be annoying to be a time-served, respected television and radio personality and these new talentless upstarts come along getting the attention. So fair play for him being in a position to tell it how it is.

He's got no reason to apologise anyway.
The BBC / ITV / Other broadcasters are probably thinking the same as him.
Channel 4 are the only ones that'll be annoyed at the comments as she made big brother famous etc.

I dont think he has any reason to apologise either.
But its one of those situations where a group of easily offended numpties would be calling for him to be sacked and make a full apology (if he wasn't already retired)
