getting a 1.8 8v engine for my corsa , it is currently in a gsi which is getting stripped , im just wondering what i need to take from the gsi to fit in my M Reg1.2 8v single point inject 4 speed corsa merrit , i know i need engine gearbox(which is the gsi one) drive shafts , wireing but do i need the lot ? or have u a diagram to wire the engine loom to my incar dash loom....? , also do i need the fuel pump if so what would do .. clutch cable is that any difernt ? gear linkage with mine being 4 speed is there a differnce i wouldnt have thought like but a mite aswell ask ? wil i have a problem using my clocks at the minute? anything else u can tel me much apreiated thanks

I'd say take everything inc mounts etc.
Naturally need ECU (if one applies) and i'd imagine your 8V would be single point so "should" be fine on that part.
But if you can though either way, take EVERYTHING from the donor car as you seem fit.
Down to brakes and suspension etc.

so do i need gear linkage in car loom, and what about petral tank plus fuel pump and pipe work , can i use my 1.2 8v singlepoint with the 1.8 8v multipoint?

the engine is a 1.8 8v out of a cav with a corsa gsi box , it is in a corsa gsi at the moment , just took wireing out today for mine , so will my fuel pump not power it like?

Is it just the same head as a 1.6 8v on a 1.8 block?
