Hi. I have a corsa b with 2.0 front calipers and rear drums. I have replaced all the flexis and put new brake slave cylinders on the rear and tried bleeding the system through with new brake fluid.
I have put around 500ml of fluid into the system to get to the point where air seemed to not be coming out anymore but yet my brake pedal still feels spongy.
What is the brake fluid capacity of a corsa brake fluid system and how can i sort this spongy pedal and also release any trapped air that may be in the system?
Thanks for your help, it's jus the car is in for mot next saturday and i dont want it to fail on the rollers.

is that a big job to change? would it make the 2.0 brakes better if they have a 2.0 servo fitted? also, would a 2.0 servo fit on a corsa?

Servo only amplifies pedal pressure applied, are your bleed nipples at the top on calipers, try using a brake bleeding kit to ensure you remove all air, you may have a defective master cylinder or poor master seals.

Does the pedal feel spongey then start to firm up after 3-4 presses?

Mine does that "thegsi"!!
Does that mean it needs a good bleeding? Or a knakered master?

Ok. Are you sure you put the calipers on the right sides? Ie: is the hose connection on the top of the caliper when mounted on the disc?

i've checked, theyre at the top. i bled the rears earlier and a bit of air came out. im going to bleed the fronts in a bit and see if this happens again
