before anyone says, i have already tried standing on the dash pulling like fook side to side up and down bashing the middle with a hammer all that crap. just wont come off. its been on there 16 years now so its pretty tight. last resort is heat it up with a blowtorch but i dont want to lose half the dash. any other ideas?

Hub puller, leather mallet and hit it like a man.

i have one of those pullers and there great.
got mine off in less than 5 seconds with it
im just stuck on how to wire the bloody boss kit up so the horn works

Ste made a tool to do mine but it bent the bloody thing. Check those top pins. Should be at right angles to the bolt.

i made something similar at work. did the same thing, just destroyed it self in seconds.

Beat the lower back of the wheel with a 5lb mallet.. Even the most stubborn wheels just ping off in my experience

mine popped off by me pulling on it really hard and a mate bashed the centre shaft with a hammer popped straight off!

Never hit the center of the steering shaft with a hammer or mallet !

That tool I made Ian worked a treat. It did bend the pins on the end but it still held and with a bit of pressure from tightening the screw in the centre it just needed a small tap to free it.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
