i have taken the crank sensor out of a c20xe becaue i thought it might be faulty. bought another second hand one which came with a plastic washer around it. when i bolted that one in i noticed that the ensor did not sit flush with the block.the washer was making a gap between sensor and block. should there be a washer or not.

there should be a gap of a mil or so iirc between the sensor face and the pulley

sould here be a `o`ring with the sesor.
