sometimes I have to start my 1.4 corsa 8v with my foot to the floor else it just turns over and wont fire up. After a while it just floods, the other problem is when idling for a short period of time the EML comes on. There car drives and feels the same, but still the light comes on.
If I switch the engine off for a few seconds and restart the light is off.
Maybe these are linked? I've replaced the ICV and the fuel filter it's also had a new exhaust. these issues were still occurring before all replacements.
any ideas?
fault code shows 12 & 35

I've forked out for a fault code read once to be told it was a fault with the ICV, but since replacing the light is still coming on.

I'm actually guessing its the idle control valve error again. though the valve has been replaced with a brand new one from auto vaux.

this forum is such a waste of time sometimes. I've got part of the answer and bumping isn't getting me anywhere.

If you aren't getting any help why don't you think to try another forum?
Ever thought people might not know the answer?
Ever thought about searching for the answer/related threads?

I can't help feel that my comment offended you. but to actually find anything of use on the help forum you have to crawl through useless posts about 'boy racers' trying to tune up 1.2 engines, or how to wire up neons.
release the hounds.
