is it not in the engine bay, most vauxhalls have a small metal plaque with the paint codes on near the bonnet release?

A quick google says it should be on the info plate in the door shut of the drivers door.

I could be totally colour blind but the Arden blue on my Corsa B looked quite different to the Arden blue on my friends Astra G GSi. And looks a bit different again to the Arden blue on new Astra/Corsa VXR's.

I'm sure I'll be shot down in flames if I'm wrong though...

There is actually a slight variatoin in the Arden Blue seen on the Corsa B and the VXR's The change was made when the Astra G GSI was released

There are 3 variants of Arden Blue. You would need all three colour cards to get an exact match.
