The handbreak warning light comes on when i corner or take round about.

have checked the handbreak its self and the connection is fine so its not that
does it have any other use? or is it used as a warning for any thing else?

Even if the brake fluid level doesnt look low, top it up
Mine looked ok, but in a little bit and sorted it

yea as soon as i posted it i realised it was in the wrong section sorry :-(
just checked fluid leval and its up to the max? any other ideas?

mine did this before, it was because it was adjusted up that much when i cornerd it made a connection and the light popped up..
how many clicks has it got?

hand break is fine, only about 5 clicks!

It'l more than likely be the handbrake telltale wire IIRC.
Take off you handbrake gaitor and look for a single wire that should be bolted. It may be loose.

ok, took a little longer to reply, but its now sorted now, had took the wire off the hand break and put new connector on, and also topped brake fluid up to the top and its now fine, so could have been either of them!

Also this happens if your brake pads go low and thus your fluid level "drops" in the tank.
