water pipes in the engine bay that go to it, and take of the inner kick plates, its not that hard to do just abit fiddly

if its water it could just be blocked plenum drains. (under the scuttle panel).
If it was the heater matrix it would be coolant leaking. If you touch a drop on your tongue and it tastes salty, its coolant. You would also notice a drop in coolant level in the expansion bottle.

Coolant is highly toxic and can cause sevre Brain damage. Just check for loss of coolant, an airlock can cause the matrix to blow cold air through.
