thinking of going over to my mates house at the weekend and spraying the bonnet and 2 wings and boot lid of the car, couldnt be bothered in giving my normal sprayer the mone for it as im only after giving him 1700 for my respray on my C...
so ive established is 79L paint... so what all do i need.
1L 79L
1L primer
2 pack
thinners
have fillers and sand papers at the house from other projects i have done.. Will 1l be too much of primer and paint?
also what amounts of paint - 2pack - thinners doy have to put together?
this is going to be good crack... lol

All for seeing you giving it a go, but I take it the parts you're spraying weren't involved in this £1700 respray?

yep me
primer will be 50/50 primer/hardener, thinners wise it depends how thick you want it, what jet your using, and how much you want to load it up
paint wise, 2:1 paint:hardener, and the same with your paint as the primer, but its how you spray is to how thin you want your paint and what temp you'll be doing it,
If you want a good shine youll need it thin but without heat you will risk runs ect as the paint will sag as its not dryingquick enuf,
most of it is down to the sprayers preferences

thinly is risky, im telling you if youve never mixed paint before this will turn out in disaster, believe me, if you go pretty thick with the primer one session of 3 coats should be fine, dusting the first coat on so it keys into the surface,
sanding wise i would wet flat with a 400 grade then once done go on to 800 grade and give it a good go over
