I have 2.0l brakes on 16" rims

It was down the the shape of the hub on speedline alessio's.
My mate may have some kawasaki green paint but i may just stick with silver

You shouldn't need longer wheel bolts with 5mm spacers. That's what I've got and I'm using standard bolts.

Unless the face of speedlines are quite thick?

Yup the old wheel nuts only turned 2 1/2 turns so they were in the bin and replaced by longer wheel bolts. Would it be an idea to adjust the rear bias to make the rear brake a bit harder?

Why would you want to do that? I'd say no since you might end up a bit tail happy when braking sharply in wet conditions.

butsurely when upgrading the front braking power you want to adjust the rear to the same point other wise the rear becomes underpowered compared to the front when braking which would cause unstability?

Something like 75% of braking is done by the fronts anyway. I wouldn't touch it personally.

i had this exact same problem, its as you say down to the rear hub flange of the speedlines.. theres 2 kinds

same as chris boom

mine were v6 brakes though so caught the pad..

i think in the end we ground some off the pad backing and tapered the edge of the wheel backs

The rear sits about 80-70mm front 60mm, already slacked it right off. Came over a brow and braked hard to find it fish tail stylee
Just worried ive upset the percentages of power.

The rear bias needs to be slackened right off if lowering the car by more than 70mm other wise it locks up all the time.
