see mine has not gone like that, itstarted going really well and really green - now couple of them have gone black and that massive flower that grew i read that you need to cut it off becuase it takes the energy etc away form the others - so i cut it off it hasnt caught any flys yet but has got a caterpiller and a daddy long legs spider things. plus amoth !
i want mine to look like that though!

If left out in the sun the inside of the traps should go red like mine.

loool, i saw something like this not long ago...was driving down the street and thought I saw a really big plant on a window ledge in a house, looked at it, Big fucking cannabis plant growing in the window sill. lol

But apart from that amusing story, these plants are really fascinating because other plants do all that nutrients bullshit, but this plant is a carnivore. Interesting stuff
