Theres a loud high pitch rattle/chime noise and i think its from the air con pump,
ive grabbed hold of it and it has maybe 2mm of play (sliding away and towards the pump)
is this normal?
Thanks,
Sam

no ive just rebuilt the cylinder head and had to de-pressurise the air con so it wont work now
ive put it all back together and fired it up and theres this noise, which sounds like the air con pump. It quite loud! very high pitch like metal catching metal
i didnt think there wold be any play in it, need to have a look at someone elses me thinks....
