Long sotry short,

whats the procces to get one?

I heard they ost about 300 quid for 3 days of training? but free if you go through Job centre or something?

How long it takes to get one? can i book a training say for next week? or it takes months?

i did mine through work so not sure about costs. mine was 3 days - 2 days training, 1/2 day written exam 1/2 day practical.

i guess you should call into the job centre and ask if there is a scheme where the government will pay or assist with payment.

i got mine through Job centre it was months before they could get me on it.mine was 5 days long i did the reach and counter balance license

I did mine, costs about £300 and for three days, pretty easy to be honest. The company i did it with had a two week waiting list so could depend etc.

I got a 3tonne counter balance license for £70 for about 3 hours one morning. Does the 3-day course cover you for other types of truck?

i did mine through work, was supposed to be 3 days but done it in 2. didnt have to do any theory tho

do you need to be registered with Job centre as unemployed (receive seekers allowance) to be able to do this course for free?

the only problem about doing it at your place of work they usually only do house licenses where you are only qualified to use a FL for that company, if you go through the job centre they will cover you for all FL licenses

mine is for anywhere as i have to use trucks on site to move machinary, if you are going through a company try persuade them to do it or if through job centre they will do it automatically

i do beleive so but im sure there will be some way of getting help towards it.
