Iv been considering recovering the standard cards nasty pattern material with something else (whatever i find cheap on the day) but wasnt sure how to go about it.
I know the front card seperate top(cloth) and bottom plastic which is great but can you remove the other plastic bits ie pull handle surrounds etc or...
Anyone done this sort of stuff before is am i just better getting a less gay interior from a donour(sp?)
Lreg corsa b btw!!!
Thanks in advance

Maybe get an interior from a 5 door GLS or something, I'm sure they come in just a plain black colour

re-trimmed all mine on my 5dr...can be messy and somewhat awkward, but rewarding if you have the patience. the link posted above is what i followed and worked a treat. bought some synthetic suede like material in black...car was sat for 18months and it faded to a browny colour on top though now...may re-do mine.
its not too bad a job, maybe get spare door cards and try on those first, if it works first time, use them and sell the old...if it fails, or you decide not to, you havent ruined your interior!

photos of when i changed the colour of my door cards
all the plastics have to come off to get the card off then replace/repair/modify as you see fit
refitting is the reverse of removal
