it just wont sign in. it tells me im offline, or not connected to the net. but i am. its been doing this for over a month now. ive not updated the programme or anything. its as its always been for ages. i can sign into msn no problems on my xbox, so i dont understand whats going on?
anyone got any tips or ideas? shall i delete the programme and download it again see if it helps?

have deleted msn and downloaded it again from the net. not happening at all. still says the same thing.
sign in to microsoft messenger failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the internet.
i bloody am

Check the time on your computer. If it isn't correct MSN won't sign you in.

it is correct. its set via the system preferences over the internet etc

have now downloaded a real ghetto old version of msn. still wont sign in.

ah fook it wont even sign in on the soap box now. yet they both use the same sign in information and its signed into xbox live no problems. wtf is the deal with that?

and now its signed in on the xbox. weird, and extremely annoying as i cant use that to talk to anyone takes hours to type on a joypad. wtf is going on.

well this is really doing my head in. ive tried other programmes for the mac that are messaging things that can work msn, and none of them will sign in. yet the soap box manages it.
