Because if you pick green 23, then when you click the house its in, 23 is the only one that was green.

In each house, ther is one number from each colour.

So by knowing the house and the colour, they have the number.

You can only end up with certain numbers, it just makes all they numbers the one symbol.

Thats the only possible numbers you can end up with, it's always the same set of numbers, the symbols just change around.

Interesting. Did it 3 times and it guessed. Someone else did it twice and it guessed.

So we took it in turns for each page and it guessed wrong

No idea what that proves though

Yeah, the second one is just maths.

So if you choose number 12 (12-2-1 = 9) [symbol X]
If you choose number 19 (19-9-1 = 9) [symbol X]
If you choose number 44 (44-4-4 = 36) [symbol X]

So they are all multiples of 9.

If you look at the symbole running diagonally from bottom left, to top right, they are the same symbols
