miss fire every so often and a flat spot half way in the rev range then picks up i kno it cud b loads of things but wer 2 start any ideas???????????????

plugs, lead, rotor arm and cap? basics to start..obv if on a dis pac then no need to check rotor arm/cap

one way of seeing if the injectors are spraying right is to unbolt the fuel rail off the inlet, disconnect your coil pack and flick the motor over so the injectors fire and that you have no spark. and look at the pattern they fire in.

need put some rags down so can soak petrol up and it is a bit iffy. but just check the basic leads, plugs etc first

I know a guy that tired to test his injectors and ended up spraying the petrol onto a halogen lamp, the lamp fell onto his engine bay and it burnt his car and garage down

So be careful!

He was from Kincardine to be fair, I'm surprised they have running water out there let alone cars tbh. All the horses pulling the carts around must be scared of the things

sorted it after fookin bout yesterday. sum 1 told me try resetin mi ecu and now runs spot on...................thanx for all your help

if happens again and you havent touched anything, might be an idea to get the codes off the motor to see if a fault comes up!
