I don't really use FB that much, but whenever I log on my homepage is ALWAYS full of status updates from one person longing for her boyfriend who is in the army. Constantly. Every couple of hours. Fucking mental.

Is it possible to stop getting updates from this person in particular without removing them as a friend?

Yep.

I've done it to someone as he keeps updating his status with shit every 5 minutes.

You go to bottom of feed and select from there.

There are some sliders somewhere too where you can change all the preferences, worth finding and changing.

I had this issue the other day, some stupid bint kept playing games and filling in 'questionaires' - whole lot was full of junk... click and hide... job done
