Got a phonecall from my mate who heard that one of the local chippers was on fire, so we went down for a look. All the flames were gone by the time i got down there, but there was still plenty of smoke.

Spoke to a guy i know who work in the chipper and he spotted the fire and tried to put it out, but had no luck. He thinks it started from an electrical fault in one of the fryers.

made me laugh when i was in scotland and wanted a battered sausage and chips.

Aparantly years ago we used to have the white fire engines (Was a long time before i was born)

unlucky. when I used to work in a chippy as my weekend job we just had to throw the potatoes into the chipper and it chopped them up for us
