was talking to my mate the other day and was informed that you can get hid's for the non projector style headlights, just wondering if any1 else had heard of this!?

yeah! you can get hids for standard head lights! the cheap ones are not road legal tho as they dont have automatic adjusters to prevent blinding other road users

They fit any headlight with the same type eg H4 hid kit will fit an H4 headlight.

i think il have alook for the non projector ones then, might upgrade from lovely £7 ebay bulbs!!

The projector is in the headlights, nothing to do with the hid kit.
An H4 hid will fit an H4 headlight with or without projectors.

i get that point, but surely they would dazzle and shine allover the place in a normal headlight? aparently these have somthing on the bulb to stop this, just wondered if any1 else had heard of them...

oh right, haven't heard of those before. probably why having them in non-projector headlights is illegal.

Was just looking at these hid kits on ebay, whats the difference between 6000k and 8000k? willows got them off here, and on the way to pvs they did look good, im just not sure which ones to get? It says on there 6000k you get a hint of blue, 8000k you get a slight blue tint??? For the same price which ones should i go 4?

4300k is the brightest the higher or lower you go it gets less brighter.

Pretty sure if you go lower than 4300k it gets brighter, but 4300k is the whitest you can get,
Anything over 6000k looks wank IMO.
