Needing some help here guys - ive lowered the car 60mm all round on jamex springs and shocks and the fronts seem to hit the bumpstop all the time!

Is there something i can do to stop this other than drive slower?

If you are getting a loud bang then you probably havent got the bump stops fitted at all

I just bought some powerflex bump stops because I was getting sick of my struts bottoming out.

The banging noise is the struts bottoming out like Dave said, mine were like it when I put the new fronts on

Cut the bottom third off of the standard ones (the tapered bit), that's what I did and it's fine

Spongey things that slide over the strut rods to stop them from going BANG when they fully compress.

I know this is an old post but i had to update it... I hadnt actually fitted any bumpstops, got 40mm springs fitted them today and realised. Just put the standard ones on and now its fine.
