does anyone know of a good wax for black cars that does have a white / cream coloured wax.

ive got a good few stone chips and using auto glym etc fills the stone chips so they stand out more.

ive got a black t cut paint restorer which is black but obviously dont want to keep using that as its slightly abrasive.

is there any wax's which are black and wont make the chips stand out

Dodo Juice Purple haze is brilliant on black cars in my experience. Its a really dark purple.

it all sounded right in my head lol.

I need a wax that wont fill the stone chips and make them stand out so i.e. a dark coloured wax, any links to this dodo juice stuff?

Why not just touch up your stone chips with touch up paint?

collinite 476s is a very good wax. brings out the flake in my paint well.

quite cheap too, when compared to the likes of dodo juice.

But i agree 476s is really good stuff too. Really down to personal preference at the end of the day

he's asking for a wax that won't make the stone chips stand out by filling them though.

collinite 476s doesn't make stone chips stand out.

and anyway, wax is just to seal the polish in, so he ideally wants a decent polish

Polish is not something that is left on the paint. Its something you do to the paint.

Blukoo was only saying that as wax does far more than seal the polish in. Deep chips in the paint wont be covered by polish unfortunately.

No, what i was saying was a wax doesn't and can't seal a polish in at all, because polish isn't something that you leave on the paint as a layer.

When you polish something, the mild abrasive removes any tiny imperfections and impurities on the surface of the paint therefore giving it a smother finish and therfore a better quality shine.

In what way does the polish cover your stone chips? Please elaborate because i can't figure out how it would do that on an orange car...

i don't know how it works but it also covers up light scratches.

and yeah, dunno why i said wax seals the polish in

I can understand how it covers/hides light scratches, because what the polish does there is removes the hard edge along the scratch and therefore making it less visible.
Unless its a really tiny stonechip and you can't see any of the undercoat then a polish isn't going to make any difference.

SRP has fillers which it leaves on the paint, the wax would seal them in.

oops, sorry, when i read SRP, i though LSP

I think the super resin polish also has a sealant in it, so its not really your conventional polish.

The fillers found in SRP obviously wouldn't be big enough to fill chips, but they will mask swirls and light scratches.
