It's just another thing in the latest craze of being 'different'.
Nobody would get that done unless they were trying to conform to whatever 'scene'.
I bet the people with holey ears also only listen to music that conforms with whatever they want to call themselves this week.

I know it's a stereotype but everybody i've ever came across that's trying to be different has fitted into it nicely.
I get by quite well in life by being me and not having a need to fit in to something.

I dont dress to what music scene im in. Most people say i dress like a chav coz most of my tops are hoodies. Yet i listen to slipknot and other various rock stuffs. But then again, i was listening to pussycat dolls album yesterday in my van I'll listen to anything, just coz ive got stretched ears doesn't mean im a scene follower.
