Thats what i'm rocking now, only done about 5 miles in them though, i'm happy with that so faar though, they get hot quick & they appear to soften with the heat, not pushed it hard yet as still need tracking / camber / toe sorted.

Sorry to hijack thread, but does anyone on here work for ATS or Kwikfit? My dad reckons theres a discount for Pirelli tires at kwikfit but doesn't know how much, and i saw an ATS advert today saying their tires are 30% off, cant find any info,

wet and dry they are awesome on track and road.
Rainsports are to knobbly and loose their balance and over heat to quickly.

even with 30% off they will still be 30% more expensive than elsewhere.

Does anyone actually care about wet conditions grip? I don't because I don't thrash my car in the wet.

i have just bought a set of T1R's tonight for 115, so am gonna give them a try. have been running paradas since having 15's, and although they are amazing in the dry...they are very sloppy and can be dangerous in the wet!
Uniroyals are well known for being crackin tyres tho, and would have had a set if i'd had more to spend. Altho i've heard the Rainsport 1's are better than the RS2's...

yoko's fitted to front, rears still to do
dry grip, quite good, not brilliant, noticed the difference from the r888's straight away
but tbh i need to sort the handling out to be fair
scary in the wet, no feel and can/did just slide out, R888's miles better in wet!
might try rain sport next when wear out

now i have 'worse' tyres, it will easier to sort out the handling

yep. I had Rainsports on my old XE Corsa and they were brilliant.
I find R888s are real good in the wet as well, untill you find even the smallest bit of standing water, then its like driving on ice.
