Rotorhead in the making.

They are traps though. Unless you're very lucky and you never have an engine problem, you will lose money on it. Basically theyre not worth much with a blown engine, and if you rebuild it, you want to keep it as soon as you drive it. Then it pops again.

A Rex is for life.

Oh Stu don't you start being a dick like everyone else on here i need you somtimes for your maturity and wiseness....you know what i mean by a specialised car.A lot of insurance companys now 'Specialise' in a particular type of car, for example the 2 companys i posted both know them inside and out and Rob at A Plan and Gary at Keith Micheals both own scoobys and both companys give the lowest quotes out of any other company for the guys off Scoobynet...SIDC etc etc on Impreza's.

I'm getting a bit sick of having to explain myself with every post on here lately

Bloody ell, I was only asking!!! Was just that I found Tesco's the cheapest to cover my P1 by a mile!!!

Mainly labour. They're actually easier to rebuild than normal engines, more of a tolerancing exercise. Takes time to get the block out and stripped though.

Easy

Trouble is with only three moving components, if one goes wrong it's catastrophic. Imagine if every piston failure involved the valves meeting the pistons, it's like that

I'd be tempted to do a re-build myself. I was thinking earlier that they can't be too hard, it's just a fear of the un-known....

I'd do my own if I had the room, that wouldn't be an issue for you.
