Never made a full thread so he it goes

Got the car new back in march 07 after years of saving and a lil loan lol.

Its a sxi and got the 1.3 cdti (90ps) engine in it which is a gd lump and pulls well considering its only a 1.3.

The factory options.

17 alloys
air con
cruise control
plus pack
sight and light pack

wish i got a pic of it in the show room

The car remained standard and had the car for nearly a year then the modding bug hit me started off with dark side repeaters and silvertec bulbs all round and then the darker vxr rear lights.

After a trip to cai (car audio innovation) and had a chat with paul i decided to get the standard audio ripped out and replaced with the following

Alpine double din head unit
rockford fosgate components with 4 tweeters
custom tweeter build
orion hcca 800 watt amp
orion hcca 4000 watt sub in custom box
orion hcca 2400 watt
Cliffod G4 alarm

So after that lot making me skint i had time to think about what was next for the corsa. I decided to de-bagde it and remove the side strips just for the fact that i was easier to clean

I knew i had to do sumthing about the tractor stance so after hunting round i found weitec had a set just in development so a quick call to the helpfull chaps at demon tweeks a set were orderd. after a month of waiting they turned up and results were as followed

Then the fun started looking for the rite size wheels so i borrowed a mates 16's with 40 profile tyres and after a meet down in the centre of london and hiting man hole covers and cats eyes!!!! i decided that 16's were to small. I think the deciding moment was wen i had to get my large mate to get out my car so we grounded out.

oh and with my brothers turbines on

Then after goin to the french car show and edition 38 i decided to go down the clean (euro) route. which lead to the purchase of these

Rh zw1's 8j alround and to be fair they were in bad condition but after a bit of tlc and a ghetto refurb they come up ok for a little while

.

Then after abit of saving i got hold of 2 new dishes and sent the baskets in for a refurb and colour change

Abit of poke there

Then came the stretch

So as you could see with over an inch of poke on the rear i could see that fitting the rears would be a problem so after a trial fit and run and not even getin quarter a mile down the road and rear arches were smoking
so back to the workshop it was and got 8mm shaved of the rear spacers.

Before

after

.

I was so pleased with the result and that weekend i went up and showed at donny and considering my car is just lowerd and got rims it got alot of attension and was in fast cars top 25 cars of the show

Then came abit of body work in time for pv.

I knew what i wanted it was just acase of saving money again. So when i had the moneys i brought a rear and front bumper off ebay and dropped them of to my mate ray who worked his magic

So the thursday before before pv we fitted the bumpers. A few pics from a very late nite/ early mornin

Oh and i got a hidden style back box so i could fully smooth the rear bumper

and on the friday i swapped a lip that i kerbed and gave her a gd clean

and the result

I think thats all of it lol and theres still more to come thanks for lookin and wil get some more good pics this weekend

Get the fogs smoothed out and have the side vents made without the fog recess that would finish the front off perfect IMO
