his car is a:
saxo VTR silver S reg 37k with pioneer HU 6 disk changer and subs and amp. its lowered but that about it. some receipts but not FSH
mine is
1.2i R reg corsa breeze with FSH 51k.
fully c/c star silver
rear spoiler, 16" team dynamics tornado's(anthracite)minted cond , lowered
deitrich front bumper, colour coded m3 mirrors
full interior blue LED conversion
pioneer 7300 and pioneer 330w 6x9's
TOAD a101 alarm
BB4 backbox, fiat rear wipe, b-sting aerial

i hit a kurb a couple of months ago but vaux fixed it but it pulls slightly to the left.

Snap his hand off mate! His car will be better standard spec, i.e leccy windows, sunroof, mirrors, etc. Bigger engine a year newer. You have done more to yours but his is still probably worth more. One question though, have you wondered why he wants to go from a 1.6 to a 1.2? Insurance or something? PS Good choice of wheels same as mine

Well if your wanting sumthing different then seems like a good choice to me on the down side the saxo has not got many mods but on the up side you get looooads more speed as long as the saxo is in mint condition then go 4 it mate

Check how much the insurance is 4 your self on the saxo before u go 4 it mate, cos it may be quite high

i'm under my dad and he has max NCB! costs me 200 on corsa just now and used to cost me 350 on group 9 1.8 16v mondeo. im 20 now and where renewal comes up i'll have reached the magic age of 21 so cheaper insurance anyway.

Woah... can't believe he's happy to go from 1.6 to 1.2 ... perhaps his is a VTR look alike i.e. 1.1

no no no no no no no no no no no no no no
and just in case you didnt hear me
no
several reasons.
S reg whats that 5 years old? with only 30k miles and NO FSH. bit dodgy that mate imo. Obviously if you know the bloke and the reason for low mileage etc fair do like just seems a dodgy in first instances
The interior of saxo's are really really poor and plasticy to, not to disimilar from the corsa but certainly not an improvment.
Looks wise is up to the person, but your corsa is kitted up and doesnt look standard, probably fetch more then the saxo especially considering saxo's are becoming as common as novas in the old scrapyard.
The VTR isnt that fast either. My mate went from His 1.3 SR nova to a VTR and did rate the power increase much. He wished that he still had his nova.
Personally Id keep your corsa, if you want some extra speed then stick a bigger engine. If you want a different car then sell the corsa, it will grab more then the saxo imo.

the gaj hasnt got back to me so it looks like there was sumthing wrong and he hasnt got the bottle as i said i would bring a qualified machanic with me!
couldve swapped for a quiksilver this weekend but he wanted 1k plus my car for his R-reg with 70k miles and no ice!
1 chance and thats .............................no chance!
not in any rush to change but i liked the quiksilver so might start looking about for a good 1

quicksilvers are not quick! They use the same TU3 engine as the westcoast and furio saxo's, 75bhp - not that good for a 1400cc engine.

if its genuine go for it mate but get an aa inspection...
id rather have a saxo vtr than a 1.2 corsa..
more power.. better extras.. better car
and more valuable
but does sound a bit bizarre..
check it before buying
