Firstly it's been charging for over four hours now is it meant to take that long!?

Main question though... I chucked over an MP3 to it, but it won't play. Just states I have nothing on it. It's the little shuffle one btw. Do I need to use iTunes or something? Really don't wanna have to install it.

yeah, you need to use itunes, its pretty good tbh, also a easy mp3 converter.

I found that it was usually just on the lowest volume setting, or I hadnt even switched it on, them shuffles are a pain in the arse.

iTunes or Winamp will allow you to transfer tracks. Winamp will also do on the fly convertion, useful if you have a load of Flac/APE/WMA etc

Damnit I hate iTunes, so slow. Had it installed before...

Oh well guess I have no choice. So it will convert tracks from my CDs into MP3s?

Probably your pc lol my Itunes if fine and I have thousands of songs on there...playback and song scrolling is top notch

It's so slow and takes ages to load up, I hate plugging my Ipod in to charge it up as it intiates Itunes and then I have to wait 20 minutes before I can start wanking again.

God what a load of crap. Got it working with iTunes now, but because I transferred over a 90Mb mix before syncing it, I can't delete it now, as it doesn't show in my devices. It shows there to transfer over via iTunes but apart from that it says it doesn't exist! appleFail.

Is there a way of doing a factory restore kinda thing?

On the other hand though it's fantastic quality and goes damn loud

ojc switch off the auto load itunes when pluggin in ipod :/
