It probably wouldn't be murder, probably manslaughter or something

The government aren't interested in things like this where they don't stand to lose any money on it. I find it fucking ridiculous that you can get 6 years for the afore mentioned crime, rape or attempted murder, etc. but if you robbed a shop or a bank you're looking at 10 - still a terrible crime, but nothing compared to this sort of thing.

if you think thats bad, check this out;
A couple goes on Holiday with his a wife and parcipate in alot of scuba diving.
They are both experienced divers and he is in particularly highly trained.
The advanced training teaches you how to recover unconcious divers and how to deal with divers in panics etc.

This bloke switches his wifes air off underwater, waits for her to die, switches it back on and bolts for the surface to say his wife has gone missing.... the only problem is, a novice diver snaps a photo of him playing messing around with the unconcious diver pictured below, obviously she is on the floor:

Not particularly nice I know, but he got 12 months after admitting it

*edit* Source if anyone wants to read.

Read about it in the local paper a few weeks back.

Unbelievable. Should be shot so the rest of us don't have to pay for him to be in prison tbh.

Basically 24 year old guy was drink driving with his 17 year old girlfriend.

Crashed into a tree and the car set on fire but he got out and the girl didn't.
When the emergency services arrived he told them twice that there was no-one in the car.

Later, when they found her body it was also discovered that she didn't die from injuries but smoke inhalation from the fire so could have been saved.

The thing is though It may have not been deliberate, he might of just been that drunk he forgot she was there. So not murder maybe got done for gross negligence.

He was sober enough to call his brother RIGHT after the crash, i'm fairly sure he was sober enough to remember his GF was in the car. Anyway, according to my GF she was a really nice girl, obviously nobody deserves this. 6 years is fucking peanuts, he will just come out and do something bad to somebody else. Makes me sick.
