all the mounts look exaxt same just gotta check the internal loom against his

Aye mate hope the new valve sorts the engine out so it ticks over nicely and if so im 99.9% sure i will be giving you the green light to do it mate.


Oh and i picked up the total vauxhall mag tonight mate and my car is in the hall of fame which im chuffed to bits about

the front o/s mount is different.im 99.9% sure of that...


apart from that its a good conversion to do.it would be a totally different story if you had a 1.0 12v as the loom is different on them and its a ball ache

Just to double check a couple of things..

Will my 1.2 8v radiator & fan will be fine for the 1.6 engine & will the drive shafts from the 1.6 fit into my current hubs ok?

ive got a 1.6 16v tigra engine sitting in my garage that i was goin to put in my 1.4 8v but i think the engine mounts are different, i hav all the fuel lines, all ounts, loom, g/box, p/s/rack, tank,brake servo. everything basically. how much would all this be worth and is it still as easy if the engine is from a tigra??? cheers

The shafts i have are currently in the 1.6 hubs and we are going to put them into my current hubs is this ok to do?

And are all the radiator fans the same? i also have the fan from the 1.6 and the radiator but the radiator is buggered.

No worries man, I havent kept any of the origional parts so will be selling as it is.
