Im thinking of stripping my car down in the summer and giving it a full respray. My girlfriends dad is an accomplished sprayer and half her uncles work in the motor trade, so that is taken care of. What i need to know is how paint and how much will it cost to buy the paint and primer. The colour im after is that aubergine that you can get on a vectra. I wanna do a full interior and exterior job.
Also how much do you reckon two doors with leccy windows and mirrors and a tailgate would cost?
Cheers in advance dudes.

paint isn't that expensive atall, its about the same price as a spray can for 1/2 litre of paint, u only need 1 1/2 litres for the outside of a corsa.
u will need primer for the metal and plastic primer for the plastic, also need laquer for the paint and activator, and thinners
u can get the stuff online from autopaint international, dont know there website, do a search, get all my stuff from them but i go into one of their shops.

4 litres should be enough to do the outside and inside, same amount of primer and laquer.
get a 5 litre thing of thinners, thats well cheap anyway.
1 litre of plastic primer should be sufficient too.
u need activator for the laquer, depends when you are planning on doing it, if summer then u want summer activator, if winter then u want winter activator.
