any idea's what it could be?
puttin the car in reverse puts it in 1st.
1st goes into 3rd and 3rd goes into 5th

told its summat do wi the selector/ linkage.

Do you do the selector mod to increase the 'throw' ?

re adjust the gear selecter then nt that hard realy. take 10 mins undo the gear selecter normaly 13 mil then lock the gears at the gearbox and lock it in the car at the gears at the selecter under the cover and do the 13 mil back up.

does your gearstick feel loose and rough? sounds to me like your gear linkage plastic clip has broken - the same thing happened to me. Gis a min and ill find the thread.
