I took the case off of my induction kit the other week and found that it was full of dust, insects and goodness knows what else.

I have soaked it in detergent and giving it a wash and its now nice and clean.

Only thing is do I have to re oil it? If so can I use just a light oil and apply a small amount?

Cheers Gavin

It's recommended that you do, yeh. The oil helps to stick the dirt to the filter and not pass through into the engine
