IMO fifth gear would be just as good if they got funnier presenters and put more funding into it!
Thank god for publicly funded BBC programmes

Both programs would be better with less presenters and less funding. All the big budgets are spent on is the silly stunts.

5th gear i find a bit hit and miss, im just not interested in people carriers and chelsea tractors which they seem to have on a lot. Pretty good when they do proper cars though.

Yeah i though he might the way he falls for it
I love that one though, i dont understand why they dont do more like that instead of thrashing round the track EVERY week, its so boring! That review is near perfect imo, just the right balance between funny and factual and the cinematography is just stunning!
I watched that yesterday after i posted it and soon after i was 40 miles from home soaking up some fantastic B road in the middle of no-wheres-ville!

Topgear are lacking with the cinematography recently, it was amazing for a couple of series.

Completely agree with that, the slow mo's etc are missing.
Watched 5th Gear last night and it wasn't bad, Barrowman rolling the Rally car was quite entertaining.

I think they used too much of those slow-mo shots.
It was like, "okay, you got a new high speed camera, we get it..."

Far too much untamed ginger/brown hair going on with both of them.
