Are you talking a stone type fountain where it'll hold a pool of water at the bottom and then it'll topple down a waterfall type effect?

Or are you talking a fountain in a pond that'll shoot water into the air?

Most decent garden centres will have them. Majority are just a case of putting in place, filling with water and running the wire to a plug inside (normally easiest to drill the all to a garage or similar).

Just dig a trench and hide it. You should really use some armoured type cable to prevent people shoving a spade through it or something but shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Not sure, I expect you can probably get it from somewhere like that.

I personally wouldnt bother and would just dig a decent depth trench so the likelyhood of it getting hit is very slim.

Or just use proper plastic conduit, its dirt cheap and much tougher if you were to damage it.
No real need for the expense and hassle of using SWA cable, just use outdoor flex inside plastic conduit and make sure it has RCD protection either back at your consumer unit or buy one of those plug-in ones.

Personally I'd run the cable in some plastic piping and also make sure there is a circuit breaker fitted in the shed!

Exactly what I was going to suggest

Also, aside from local Garden centres it may also be worth having a look on ebay. I got this one for my mum's house on ebay
