I have had 3 corsas since driving and every single one has had a slight oil leak, not very much just a couple of spots on the floor under the car.

I take it this is a very common problem for these, but even changing the sump gasket and rocker gasket it still manages to leak a little bit. Quite annoying

Are you buying the right gasket. A while since i messed about with one, but shouldnt they have a grove in them?

they are old engines and they wernt designed to be super presice.

make sure everything is cleaned fully, no misting at all, then replace the gasket and also put a small amount of ether black or silver sylicone on the faces to make sure its all sealed properly. should be fine after that

Mine only leaks through the valve stem seals
