I'm going to the scrappies tomorrow to get a round 3 pin plug off the gearbox of a corsa. But I'm not sure where to actually look under the bonnet or if it'll be easier going in from underneath, anyone able to confirm whereabouts it is?

underneath the batt tray just on top of the gearbox you cant really miss it tall black clip into a transducer w/b if you cant find it ill try n send you a pic

Yeah its easy enough buddy...
I'm having trouble myself, apparently i'm missing something... a Cog or something...
I'd make sure you get everything you need to save a second trip!
I've got the bit you need, all wired in, along with the white bit that fixes to it and goes down into the box, I believe I still need something else on it?..

Maybe the transducer that you need to buy from Vaux? As per pic:

yeh its half electric and half mechanical ive sus'd it if you guys need the transducer ive got 1 here with 6"s of wire on with cog and i can get hold of more if needed

You've got the transducer and the plug with some wire I take it? If so how much?
